Estate Administration 

When a loved one passes away, it can be overwhelming to figure out what assets he or she owned, what bills need to be paid, how to dispose of property and who has authority to handle these tasks.  If you were named as the Executor in your loved one's Last Will and Testament, we can walk you through the estate administration process.  This entails preparing and filing all necessary paperwork with the Surrogate's Court to have you appointed as the Executor of the Estate.  We can assist in identifying and collecting all of the assets held by your loved one at death and arrange to have these assets distributed to the beneficiaries named in the Will.     

If a loved one died without leaving a Last Will and Testament, we can help you to be appointed as Administrator of the Estate and assist with all of the paperwork and tasks involved in an estate with no Last Will and Testament.
